Reasons for joining :  

I joined for the simple reason of being around like-minded folk, and the occassion to possibly wear one of the 3 costumes I joind with every once in a while... Now 5 years and 2 garrisons late, it's the great friends that keep me coming back. They TRULY are the best bunch of people I've ever had the pleasure to know.

Favorite Event :  

Tournament of Roses, for the momentusness of it. It was a once in a lifetime event, trooping with fellow members from all over the world & meeting Uncle George! The parade itself was hell...LOL

As for our local events, I love both our St. Patty's Day in New Haven and the Barnum Parade in Bridgeport, we get a fantastic response! Free Comis Book Day at Sarge;s is alway a blast too. Ultimately any chance I have to put on a costume and hang out with these people is a great time.
